In the last part of the saga of the stolen Guzzi, there was a photo of the bike with black paint over the tank and side panels.
As can be seen above, the original scheme is back. An old friend from my days in the Civil Service said a kitchen scourer should work since the black paint shouldn't be fully cured yet or something.
Either way, it worked beautifully, as can be seen.
As can also be seen, I am taking no chances with a repeat performance. The padlock and chain are usually fed through the front wheel of the MZ as well. The shed itself has a new padlock system which is pretty sturdy so I can sleep better at night.
34 years old and counting, the ETZ is still going well.

That's what I call a result.
The trick with the scourer is worth remembering.
