Thundersprint 2009

In terms of attendance this event just gets bigger and bigger. Acres of bikes, thousands of bikers, traders, funfair, bands, morris dancers, bike parade through the town etc etc. A really good atmosphere - pity that the actual racing is still confined to a tiny circuit on a closed public car park where the longest straight is only around 100 yards. The usual pensioners in attendance - Redman, and Miller and, this year, the somewhat younger Toseland to entertain the crowds. Just hope JT hasn't tired himself out too much and will manage to put in a (more) creditable performance than of late at next week's French Grand Prix................

Talking about pensioners, where was Ken this year?
