KN, PL,DI, ME           RH( UK observer), ED (French observer)

 

Apologies:

RS claimed that he didn't have time or money to make trip. Rejected on basis that he is now retired and hasn't bought a round of drinks for years.

KS had tested his endurance, on a bike, and reported that a 100 mile trip had laid him up for a whole day. Accepted on the grounds that a note be produced by his carer to confirm episode.

PL kept repeating that apologies should automatically be granted to KS as he was the only member to have attended both of the previous EGMs, despite the chair emphasizing that these were not valid grounds…

 

Agenda items as pertaining to ME.

 

1: Health

Problem with hip after crashing too many bikes.

 

2: Medication:

Blood pressure pills, Statins, Omeprazole to keep them down.

 

3: Current bikes:

In France: R90S (1975), Suzuki DR600, Yamaha TY125 (1981), Honda Bop.

In USA: R100RS (1981), Ural 650 & sidecar (1994), R1200S (2007), S1000RR (2011)

 

4: Mileage in 2017

5: Employment status

Self Employed Expert witness ( Wobble and/or Weave)

 

6: Pension

Unlikely, but Trump might cough up.

 

AOB:

Possible meeting in Manchester Missouri, or again in France.

DI wrote to Robert Gibbons, whose idea it was to visit ME, but received no reply.

And of course ME and ED who treated us royally.

It was suggested that John Jeffrey be invited to join 71 club as an honorary member.
