It started as a plan to explore Namibia with Dave Irving on BMs but taking in the Cape Town bicycle tour as part of the trip.
The former has been deferred for a year but I am doing the cycling on March 12th, along with 34999 others - yes, its the largest cycle event in the world.
I have built a carbon road bike from secondhand stuff - the frame comes from KTM, the mechanicals from Shimano and the wheels hand built by a friend of mine.
Ill try to post some images of my training regime and the event itself.
