I'll soon be too old for this but 'one more season' maybe then I will get a road bike. Perhaps then I will be able to do some touring.
By the way Ken, we seem to have similar masochistic tendencies; I'm training for the Fred Whitton Challenge around the Lakes in May. Also on a bike made from bits.
