Sat in exactly the same spot as Ken and I watched 43 years ago - Braddan Bridge.
We thought that we would take the mountain bikes.
No problem therefore getting back from the pub after a few(ish) pints.
The variety of trails is superb.
Below is the track from Windy Corner down towards Laxey.
We got there by a track from Union Mills to Brandish/ Hailwood Rise. A tough climb.
This could become a regular event.
We camped at Glenlough, between Union Mills and Glen Vine.
It was adjacent to the circuit.
Altogether a brilliant, and very cheap, 4 days

I realise why you went to Braddan Bridge. Did you find the sixpence you remember dropping there all those years ago?
