Today's run.Ullswater

Two of us (1978 750 Triumph Bonneville and my XMoto) set off at 5:15 this morning, both will full tanks. A steady ride up to the Lakes at 60/70mph, then a ride around the Lakes including 3 mountain passes taken at a high rate of knotts. As I rode into Ambleside my fuel light came on. I brimmed the tank again. 84.17mpg. That's what I call economy. The Bonnie used half as much again.
