It seemed a good idea at the time.......

A few days in Barcelona, bit of sightseeing, bit of relaxation and take in the Catalunyan round of MotoGP - to watch Rossi battle it out with those young upstarts. So, everything pre-booked, paid up, and ready to go ...............but of course we hadn't factored in a strike by French Air Traffic Control

Flights cancelled at last minute - first available date to travel last Friday so we missed our leisure days and first day of practice including free access to all the stands and pit lane walk. What a bummer. Very expensive two-day break but pleased we went: weather brilliant, 90,000 plus crowd, tremendous atmosphere.............and the racing was excellent too. Sadly the Crutchlow banners were soon put away:




But Bradley did us proud.

And then there was Marc Marquez doing his stuff - you've got to see it to believe it:
