Excellent event (really a trackday for pension-age owners of
Tridents and Rocket 3s) and a marvellous range of specials and stuff loaned by
the National Motorcycle Museum
too. Weather brilliant. Well drained campsite (sandy soil, Martin) with good facilities. There was even the odd silver Commando
circulating at a good pace.
Peter has an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Trident, and, subject
to his retirement plans coming to fruition, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him taking to
the track himself next year.
In the meantime just a few clips taken on the day. Quiz
question: at the end of the video who is the gent/TT winner on the left of the
group - scoffing a choc ice?
PS I have tried to make this a private utube vid so that only Bike 71 bloggers can view it. If it can't be seen when you paste the link into google I will have to admit defeat and make it public.
