In Praise of BMW

Whilst out last weekend on wet roads and negotiating a left hander, I found myself heading for an oncoming car driving at some considerable speed on my side of the road. I was cranked over to the left on the limit of adhesion, but managed an extra degree or two of lean.
The result was the inevitable collision, but a glancing blow down the side of the car.
If I had not been on the BMW, the damage to my leg would have been significant.
The car was badly damaged down the side, the damage to the BMW was a destroyed plastic guard that will cost a couple of quid to replace.
From now on I'll stick to BMW bikes!!!!
