My insurance is about to expire, and I received my renewal from a certain female in Altrincham.
£219.00 - not unreasonable, thought I.
However, my letter pointed out that the underwriters had changed.
I then logged onto the underwriters website - result?
A renewal at £89.95.
UNBELIEVABLE
15 years ago when I had the 906 Cagiva I was paying over £700.00.
Also, 30 years ago a Yamaha XS750 was £1400.
Inflation has been at least tenfold, but a comparable but much better bike is now £6000 to £8000.
In the words of a well known politicion - WE'VE NEVER HAD IT SO GOOD!!!
(I won't mention fuel though)
